Al-Fatihah - The Opening

On the stitching of the verses of the opening chapter of the Quran.

All praise and gratitude belongs to God, Lord of all worlds

The all loving, The ever loving
(this life), (next life)

  • The all loving/this life - in this life all humans get to experience the love of God, the believer and disbeliever alike get to experience tasty food, companionship, the beauty of the world. Everyone is free to a certain degree.
  • The ever loving/next life - in the next life, only part of humanity will continue to experience the love of God; the receivers of Paradise. Nobody will be wronged (Day of Justice), but He will no longer be all loving to a part of humanity, the arrogant, selfish destroyers, for they will receive continuous punishment and wrath instead of continuous love.

Owner/King/Master of the Day of Judgement

  • Stitched into previous word, “The ever loving”, directly tying these two together as stated above. Such that on the Day of Judgement it will be decided who gets to continue to receive His love.

It is You we worship, it is You we ask for help (guidance).

  • It’s only fruitful to willfully worship and ask for help in the test of this life. The day of judgement is the day of clarity, accounting, true records, and decision. Worship and help are primarily about guidance for the test and uncertainties of this life, therefore neither worship nor the seeking of help/guidance has any purpose or benefit on this day.
  • This is therefore stitched into “all loving” - in the sense that from amongst the all loved in this life, those who worship Him and seek His guidance, are the truly loved and will be continuously loved “ever loving”.
  • This is also therefore stitched into the Day of Judgement for the purpose of “worshipping” and “seeking help/guidance” is to be safe on the Day of Judgement and to hope to receive the continuous love.

Guide us to the straight path

  • Stitched into all the previous verses and the next, primary purpose of the help, this surah, and this entire book, is guidance.

The path of those whom you have favored, not of those who have earned your anger, nor of those who are astray.

  • Stitched into all the previous verses. What the guidance actually looks like and how it works at the highest level.
  • The guided are those whom God has favored and God’s greatest favor in this life is that very guidance. How can you tell who is guided? Is it the appeared gain and properties?
    • Wrong, this is addressed right away: “not of those who have earned your anger”.
      • This was the way the Israelites thought God’s favor worked: bloodline, money, power, influence. They thought these are the signs of God’s favor and therefore believed only their lineage is favored and only they can receive Prophets and guidance, no one else. And that they are destined to receive God’s kingdom on this earth (material). Most of them aren’t even sure there’s an afterlife.
    • What about the astray? This is everybody else besides the Muslims and Jews. This includes Christians and all the rest of humanity who are practicing their false religions built upon nothing but conjecture, hearsay, and no evidence. Those who are truly lost, create theology and philosophy from their own minds and take it as truth and guidance.
      • You will see that God’s anger is mentioned separately from them and the verse doesn’t mention that God is angry with them. This is because not all of them are destined for hell and not all of them are destined for heaven. The Master of the day of Judgement will separate from between them on the final day who belongs where.
      • Nonetheless, is this the ideal path to be on? or the ideal group to be a part of on the Day of Judgement? No. Therefore they are mentioned as a separate category.
  • Stitched into the first verse - Allah is the Lord of all of their worlds. Whatever world they live in their minds, atheist, buddhist, nihilist, it cannot possibly make any sense without the existence of God. For each of their worlds is built upon the foundation God has laid out all in front of them. Whether they admit this or not makes no difference.
  • Stitched into the second verse - In this life, all 3 categories receive God’s love, but not all 3 will continue to receive God’s love. Why? Third verse.
  • Stitched into the third verse - On the Day of Judgement, the Owner & Judge of all of them will physically manifest these 3 categories in front of all eyes and ultimately decide who continues to receive His love.
  • Stitched into the fourth verse - Consequently of the previous stitching with verse 3, this Day, the Owner will manifest the results of those who practiced this fourth verse: worship of only Him, seeking help and guidance from only Him.
  • Stitched into the fifth verse - Continuous stitching from the previous verse - the manifestation of will make it clear who was on the straight path, and who wasn’t. Who was right, and who was wrong. Who was correctly guided, and who wasn’t. We also have evidence to believe, those favored/guided, will have a straight path cleared for them on the Day of Judgement that they can walk straight through on.
